(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the case in C.C No.54 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the petitioner was acquitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy, by judgment, dated 26.09.2019. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted a letter to the Registry on 17.09.2020 seeking permission of this court to withdraw this criminal original petition.
3.Recording the letter submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
