ORDER

This Petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking direction against the Respondent/Investigation Officer to complete the enquiry in Crime No. 383 of 2021 and file the final report within the time to be specified by this Court.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that during investigation suicide note of the Petitioner's deceased daughter was recovered and the same is sent for forensic examination. So far 15 witnesses have been examined in this case. The report of the Forensic Department is awaited and hence, the Investigation Officer seeks further time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the report from the Forensic Department as undertaken by him/her.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
