Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order vide D.C.C.No.58/2019 dated 30.04.2019 passed by the second respondent herein which is illegal/per incuriam/ultravires to the Constitution of India, and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to allow the writ petitioner herein to continue his Advocate profession with all privileges as before (status quo ante).

Writ Petition (MD).No.25067 of 2019 respondent and Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel for the third respondent.

2.This writ petition is directed against the order passed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, imposing Punishment on the petitioner by removing his name from the roll of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducheery.

3.As against the order passed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the petitioner has filed an appeal to the Bar Council of India in D.C.Appeal.No.19 of 2019, in which notice has been ordered. Therefore, the petitioner cannot pursue parallel remedies. Hence, for such reasons, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
