ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 498(A), 406, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW 1/3

Act in Crime No.16/2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that A1 married the defacto complainant in the year 2020. Thereafter, there was demand for dowry and the defacto complainant was treated with cruelty. There are totally five accused persons in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A1.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent.

4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that A2 and A3 have been granted anticipatory bail and also considering the fact that matrimonial dispute is involved in this case and custodial interrogation may not be required in this case, there shall be a direction to the the respondent Police to follow the procedure adumbrated under Section 35 of BNSS Act and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. 5.Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of. sd/- 28/11/2024 / TRUE COPY / /12/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.
