(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in the case of Crime No.53 of 2016 from the 5th respondent to the 3rd respondent police.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case in Crime No.53 of 2016 was registered by the 5th respondent police under section 174 of Cr.P.C and after enquiry, it was closed as "Action Dropped" by 5th respondent on 20.03.2018 and a final report was sent to the Executive Magistrate, Ramanathapuram on 20.03.2018 to that effect.

3.Recording the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
