ORDER

This Petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking direction against the Respondent/Investigation Officer to complete the enquiry in Crime No. 51 of 2020 and file the final report within the time to be specified by this Court.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that the case is registered under Sections 381, 403, 406, 409, 408, 468, 417, 465 and 466 of IPC. So far 208 witnesses have been examined and some more witnesses are yet to be examined. Hence, the Investigation Officer seeks further period of six months to complete the investigation and file the final report. 3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as undertaken by him/her.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
