(Thro' VC) This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the charge sheet in CC No.351 of 2016 on the file of the Additional District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the case in CC No.351 of 2016 on the file of the Additional District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, has been transferred to the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thirupuvanam and renumbered as CC No.699 of 2019 and thereafter, the case was disposed of by acquitting the accused persons, by judgment, dated 18.09.2020 and hence, the matter has become infructuous.
