ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents not to grant Temporary Licenses for the sale of fire crackers near Protected Works like super markets, marriage hall, school, college grounds, temple in violation of the Explosive Rules, 2008 in Trichy by considering the petitioner's representations dated 07.10.2023 and 12.09.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. It is reported by the learned Government Pleader that the shops to which temporary licenses were granted earlier to which the petitioner has now sought for an injunction, have been evicted, since the festival of Diwali had lapsed recently. In the light of the statement made, no effective orders can be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
