PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for records and quash the FIR in Crime No.05 of 2022 dated 02.04.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thilagar Thidal, Madurai City, as against the petitioners herein. 1/4

For petitioners : Mr.C.Suresh Kannan For R-1 : Mr.S.Manikandan, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash FIR in Crime No. 05 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 498 (A) and 506(i) IPC, on the file of the first respondent Police, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police would submit that in the absence of any interim order, the respondent Police has conducted investigation in Crime No.05 of 2022 and on completion of investigation, the respondent Police has filed a charge sheet in C.C.No.293 of 2023 before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous 2/4

petition is closed. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
