ORDER

The petitioner approached the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai for issuance of patta. Vide order dated 05.08.2022, his request was rejected. Instead of questioning the same, this writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus. As rightly pointed out by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition may not be maintainable. The petitioner has to formally challenge the order dated 05.08.2022. The writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. Liberty is given to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action.
