O R D E R
The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct agitation on 21.11.2022 from 10.30 am to 01.30 pm near Karthick Theater, Tharapuram Salai, Ottanchatiram, Dindigul District or alternative place at Ottanchathiram bus stand, Dindigul District on 22.11.2022 from 10.30 am to 01.30 pm by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.11.2022.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he had filed this writ petition seeking permission of the respondents to conduct protest on 22.11.2022.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the 2/5
place sought for or selected by the petitioner for conducting protest, cannot be permitted. Further, he submits that an alternate site may be selected by the petitioner.
4.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to decide the place of protest, which does not cause hindrance to the general public. The petitioner shall present a fresh petition with details and the respondents are directed to grant permission.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
