Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the third respondent in proceeding No.43382-497 dated 24.08.2024 and consequential relieving order dated 06.10.2024 passed by the fourth respondent and quash the same and retain the petitioner at 45th Battalion, Madurai.
PRAYER in W.P.(MD)No.7244 of 2025: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned relieving order dated 02.03.2025 passed by the fourth respondent and quash the same. In both petitions:
For Petitioner : Mr.V.S.Rishikesh For Respondents : Mr.K.Govindarajan Deputy Solicitor General of India COMMON ORDER The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in both petitions seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petitions with liberty to the petitioner to make a request to the Head of the Department for re-transfer, since he has to take care of his age old parents. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court record. 2/4
2.Recording the same, these writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. The petitioner is directed to join in the transferred place within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
