ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner's husband filed an appeal before the first respondent seeking restoration of his name in the patta. During the pendency of the appeal, he passed away. The petitioner wants to step into his shoes. The petitioner had submitted representations. Her grievance is that till date, it has not been disposed of. 3.The first respondent is directed to pass order on the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first 2/4

respondent will issue notice to the private respondents and after giving opportunity to them pass final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The only direction that has been given is for time bound disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner's husband. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
