Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.10.2024 in person and 03.10.2024 and grant permission to conduct Lord Sri Durga Devi Festival from 09.10.2024 to 13.10.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to provide protection for procession of Sri Durga Devi Idol on 13.10.2024 from Dindigul Bus Stand to Malaikottai Bathira Kali Amman Temple. ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.10.2024 and 03.10.2024 and grant permission to conduct Lord Sri Durga Devi Festival from 09.10.2024 to 13.10.2024 and consequently, direct the respondents to provide protection for procession of Sri Durga Devi Idol on 13.10.2024 from Dindigul Bus Stand to Malaikottai Bathira Kali Amman Temple.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the President of the Sri Arjuna Seva at Dindigul District. It is submitted that Lord Sri Durga Devi festival is scheduled to be held from 09.10.2024 to 13.10.2024 and there is a procession of the idol to Malaikottai Pathirakali Amman Temple from Dindigul Bus Stand towards Nangu Ratha Veethi on 13.10.2024. Hence, the petitioner submitted representations to the respondents on 02.10.2024 and 03.10.2024 seeking permission to conduct the said festival. Since the said representations were not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents. It is reported by the learned Additional Public 2/4
Prosecutor that the petitioner's representation was already considered and rejected. The rejection order was also served on the petitioner on 07.10.2024. The said submission is recorded.

Since the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for Mandamus to consider the representation and that the petitioner's representation was already disposed of, no further orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
