ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 2(2)(11)(14), 39(b), 43(1) (2), 49(B), 50 & 51 of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, in W.L.O.R.No.01 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has joined hands with the other accused, transporting and in possession of 3 Rhinoceros Horns and two pairs of tusks. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Since the petitioner is a friend of A3, he has been implicated in this case. He further submits that even according to the prosecution case, the petitioner is tried to purchase the Rhinoceros horn and therefore, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to this petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent strongly objects for grant of anticipatory bail to this petitioner that totally there are 5 accused in this case and this petitioner is the main accused. 2/3

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner involved in attempting to deal with large quantity of animal parts and investigation in this case is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner.
