O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent police may be directed not to interfere in the civil dispute between the parties.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that a complaint was received from the fourth respondent and therefore, enquiry was conducted. During pendency of this petition, the matter was also referred to the Mediation. However, mediation failed. 2/5

4.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 5.The respondent police is not supposed to keep the petition/enquiry pending for more than four weeks. The respondent police has to take a decision either way within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent police is expected not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
