ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/accused who has been remanded to judicial custody on 13.02.2017, for the offences under Sections 404 and 302 IPC in Crime No.7 of 2017 on the file of the respondent/Police, seeks bail.

2.The petitioner who is the former lover of the deceased person, has committed brutal murder of his lover, since there was misunderstanding with her. The postmortem report indicates that there are nearly 17 cut injuries over her body. The Police has seized the weapon used by the accused based on the information disclosed by the accused during interrogation. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) submits that the investigation is yet to be completed. The chemical analysis report is awaited. The evidence collected during the course of investigation clearly indicates that the petitioner has committed the murder with premeditation by enticing the victim to a lonely place. He has removed the valuables on her body and pledged the same with Pawnbroker. The weapon and the stolen jewels were recovered based on the confession statement of the accused. If the petitioner is released on bail at this juncture, he may tamper the witnesses and distort the investigation.

4.Perusal of the CD file reveals that the investigation is in the very crucial stage. If the petitioner is released on bail at this juncture, there is a possibility of tampering the evidence.
