ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner, initiated on the charge memo in Na.Ka.No.7133/,1/2018, dated 08.05.2019, on the file of the second respondent. 2.According to the petitioner, he was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher in a Private School, aided by the Government. On 28.12.1998, the petitioner was appointed as B.T. Assistant (Maths) in a Government Higher Secondary School, Shanmuganathapuram, Ramnad District. On 19.10.2012, he was promoted as Headmaster of Vadakku Elanthaikulam Village High School, Thoothukudi District and transferred to various schools and finally, posted in Bharathiyar Municipal High School, Tirunelveli, on 17.08.2016. On the complaint of the District Child Welfare Protection Officer, a case was registered against him in FIR No.

288 of 2018. Subsequently, he was suspended from service on 03.09.2018. The second respondent has issued a charge memo on 06.05.2019 to the petitioner. The petitioner has submitted his explanation on 10.06.2019. However, the respondents have not initiated further action. Therefore, the petitioner has sent representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

W.P.(MD)No.24310/2019 17.10.2019. However, the same has not been considered, so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition and the fact that the petitioner has submitted his explanation to the charge memo on 10.06.2019, without deciding the case on merits, the respondents are directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
