The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the second respondent (SDAT) to conduct a free and fair election to the fifth respondent Society by removing present office bearers, namely respondents 6, 7 and 8 herein, who are facing criminal charge in respect of misappropriation of the fifth respondent Society's funds, based on the F.I.R dated 02.09.2022. 3/6

2.The learned respective counsels appearing on behalf of the parties to the lis have brought to the notice of this Court that the term for the elected office bearers is going to expire on 30th September 2025. Hence, the parties are not interested to pursue the litigation further. 3.In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
