This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to expedite 1/4

the investigation and file the final report in connection with crime no. 17/2022 dated 10.05.2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent seeks one month time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.17 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
