Mrs.J.Padmavathi Devi, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.The petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to consider their representation dated 31.05.2019 with regard to renovation of Arulmigu Peramanar Temple situated at Varahur Village, Thiruvaiyaru Taluk, Thanjavur District.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a copy of enquiry notice dated 12.11.2019 in Na.Ka.No.890/2017-2/A1 issued by the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable and Endowments Department, Thanjavur/second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.24404 of 2019 respondent herein, wherein it is stated that the first respondent has already called the stakeholders for enquiry on the basis of the complaints made by them. The enquiry is scheduled to be held on 22.11.2019 at 11.00 am, at the office of the second respondent. 4.In view of the subsequent development, it is open to the petitioners to participate in the enquiry and to redress their grievance.
5.Taking the said notice on record, the writ petition is closed, as having become infructuous. No costs.
