COMMON ORDER Heard both sides.
2.The petitioners herein had filed WP(MD)Nos.24742 to 24745 of 2022 challenging the cancellation of their pattas. The writ petitions were dismissed today. It was a consequence of the judgment dated 21.02.2019 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in OSA Nos.60, 61, 138 and 139 of 2017. The Hon'ble Division Bench had granted the writ petitioners liberty to file civil suits to establish their title. Availing the same, the petitioners have filed OS Nos.963 of 2022, OS.No.504 of 2021, OS No.964 of 2022 and OS No.536 of 2021 on the file of the Sub Court, Trichirappalli. Their title deeds have already been nullified. Till the petitioners get declaration in their favour before the jurisdictional civil court, the petitioners cannot restrain the registering authority from discharging his statutory functions. The writ petitions stand dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 26.06.2023 4/6
