O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first Respondent to correct the UDR Records pertaining to the property situated in Survey No.79/5 - with an extent of 81 Ares, at K.Nedunkulam Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

According to the petitioner, the subject property in Survey No.79/5 with an extent of 81 Ares at K.Nedunkulam Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District belongs to the family of the petitioner. In village "A" Register the petitioner's father name is mentioned in respect of the said land as Patta No.673 and during UDR scheme, the revenue records mutated in the name of one Sakunthala. The petitioner has submitted a representation on 29.07.2025 seeking correction in the UDR records and restoration of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same has not been considered, he has come before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the representation of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law.

4. Since no adverse orders passed as against the fourth respondent, notice to fourth respondent is dispensed with.

5. In view of the limited scope involved in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.07.2025 and to pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and any other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
