ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to notionally promote the petitioner as District Registrar by including his name in the panel for the year 2009-2010 inconformity with the proceedings issued by the second respondent vide his proceedings in No.15021/A5/2013, dated 11.05.2013 and by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.07.2025, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner, who had superannuated in the year 2014 was not permitted to retire in view of the pending disciplinary proceedings which came to be concluded on 11.07.2022 by 2/5

imposing a punishment on him, he would have been entitled for a promotion, as no charge memo was pending against him and therefore, he is entitled for notional promotion to the cadre of Deputy Registrar. He had also made a representation on 14.07.2025 for the said reason and the same is kept pending before the second respondent.

3. In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
