ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.3 and 4, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 23, 24, 171, 120(b), 403, 405, 406, 420, 294(b), 342 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.833 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused have fabricated a letter in the name of His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu with Government emblem and with the photograph of the petitioner Uma that she is working as a Revenue Officer in the Department of Revenue in Ministry of Finance and cheated the public by collecting the money on false promise to get job and transfers.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners herein are A3 and A4, who are the father and brother of the first accused in this case and A1 was arrested and released on bail by the Sessions Court, Trichy, as per the order in Crl.M.P.No.2705 of 2016, directing the first accused to deposit a sum of Rs.9,50,000/- to the credit of this Crime Number and was released on bail. learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy in this crime number. He further states that a sum of Rs.9,50,000/- was cheated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent states that totally there are 5 accused in this case and the first accused was released on bail. He further states that A2 and A5 are still absconding and the petitioners herein are A3 and A4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) further states that a sum of Rs.12,50,000/- was cheated in this case and the enquiry is in initial stage.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the quantum of amount involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
