The petitioner is the Managing Trustee of Arulmigu Maruthakaliamman Temple, Pavithram Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District, which is under the control of HR & CE Department. The petitioner in the capacity of Managing Trustee of the temple has filed an application that without conducting any enquiry as contemplated under Section 22A of the Registration Act, 1908, a document was registered on the temple's property.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct an enquiry as contemplated under Section 22A of the Registration Act, 1908 and to take a decision within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
