(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 not to pursue the proposal of granting FL2 liquor license to Ilamai Manamahil Mandram situated at Door No. 147, Balakrishnapuram Road, Koduvilarpatti, Theni District. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 1 to 4 have received application from the fifth respondent to establish FL2 liquor 2/5
licensed bar at Door No.147, Balakrishnapuram Road, Koduvilarpatti, Theni District. On 21.08.2025, the petitioner has sent a detailed representation to the respondents 1 to 4 to take necessary steps to stop the process of opening FL2 Liquor shop in the name of Ilamai Manamahil Mandram. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the authority concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
