O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to quash the C.C No.26 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai.

2.On 12.08.2020 when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners/A1 & A2 and the respondent/complainant along with their counsel appeared in person. They have filed a Joint Memorandum of Compromise stating that the matter has already been compromised between the parties and the respondent/de-facto complainant has no objection to quash the entire proceedings in connection with the case in C.C.No.26 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai.

3.In view of the statement made by the parties and the Joint Compromise Memo filed by them, no fruitful purpose will be achieved to proceed further in this matter.

4.In view of that, this criminal original petition is allowed and the entire proceedings in respect of C.C.No.26 of 2017 on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.OP(MD)No.7427 of 2017 file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai, is quashed as against the petitioners. The Joint Compromise Memo, dated 10.02.2020 shall form part of the order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
