Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No. 1 to 3 not to disconnect the electricity connection to the house property in Old Natham Survey No.109/2, New Survey No.240/8 situated at Rajakambeeram Revenue Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2025 within stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents No.1 to 3 not to disconnect the electricity connection to the house property in Old Natham Survey No.109/2, New Survey No.240/8 situated at Rajakambeeram Revenue Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2025
2. This Court in W.P(MD)No.17657 of 2025, dated 01.07.2025 has passed the following order:
"4. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct an inspection and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2025 and to take appropriate steps if electricity connection is to be disconnected. It is needless to state that before disconnecting power connection, notice shall be issued to the person, who is in occupation of the property."
3. By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner is attempting to circumvent the order passed in W.P(MD)No.17657 of 2025. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order. Without challenging the same, the petitioner cannot file subsequent writ petition seeking a mandamus not to disconnect the electricity connection.
4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
