This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.173 of 2017, dated 03.04.2017 registered on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report. Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8345 of 2017 therefore, there was no reason for the respondent Police to stop the investigation.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.173 of 2017 and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be, before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
