PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 3rd respondent Police to complete the investigation in respect of Crime No.66 of 2023 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent Police to complete the investigation in respect of Crime No. 66 of 2023 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered an FIR in Crime No.66 of 2022, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed within six months. It is further submitted that the above said investigation was transferred from the file of third respondent to the second respondent.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.66 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
