This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to instruct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the representation, dated 24.09.2019.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reports that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.88 of 2017.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17170 of 2019 3.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police. However, in respect of the family members of the petitioner is concerned, the respondent police are directed not to harass the petitioner's family members.
