ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Sivakasi, Virudunagar District to expedite the trial in C.C.No.18 of 2023 and complete it within the stipulated time.

Making a similar request, earlier, the petitioner herein had filed Crl.O.P.(MD).No.4498 of 2024 and this Court, by order dated 02.04.2024, disposed of the said petition with the following direction: "3. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible."

3. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the said order, no steps have been taken by the learned Magistrate to conclude the trial. It is for the petitioner to impress upon the learned Magistrate to comply with the order passed by this Court. This Court cannot issue another direction as prayed for.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
