ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey No.282/14, with an extent of 1400 sq.ft, Pullur Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Ukkra Pandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the sixth respondent.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property for the past 40 years. He has put up a residential house thereon and local tax for the building also assessed in the name of the petitioner. Based on his long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation on 10.07.2025 before the official respondents seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5.The learned learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the representation of the petitioner

will be considered in accordance with law.

6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
