O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in in Crime No.129 of 2017, pending on the file of the respondent Police as against the petitioner herein.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet is ready to be filed before the concerned Court. He further submitted that the petitioner's name has been deleted from the First Information Report.

3. In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent Police to file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such filing, the concerned Judicial Magistrate is directed to take the final report on file immediately and proceed further, in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
