COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to assess the property tax, sewerage tax, water tax for the petitioner's houses properties according to the guidelines of the Government for the area classified as Poramboke land situated at D.Nos.190 and 213, NSK Nagar, 2nd street, Jaihindpuram, Madurai based on the representation dated 18.02.2023 and 22.09.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.When these writ petitions are taken up for hearing the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation submitted that the petitioners' representations were duly considered and they were rejected by order dated 17.10.2023.

3.In view of the subsequent developments, these writ petitions are closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. 18.10.2023 dsk 3/5
