The petitioner with a grievance that the revision petition filed by the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 before the first respondent District Revenue Officer challenging the order passed by the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer has not been concluded, has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible. 2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that the petitioner has filed the revision petition on 25.08.2023 and they have issued notice to the respective parties and a decision would be taken within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner has filed the revision petition on 25.08.2023 and an enquiry is required for taking a decision, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the proceedings within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
