O R D E R

The petitioner appeared in person. She is a resident of Thiruvarangulam Village. She alleges that the fifth respondent had committed encroachment on a water body. The third respondent had already issued notice to the fifth respondent calling upon the fifth respondent to remove the encroachment. The fifth repsondent does not appear to have complied with the demand.

2. We therefore direct the second respondent to take action under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. Notice will be 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.24419 OF 2025 issued to the fifth respondent. Enquiry will be conducted. If the second respondent is satisfied that the encroachment has been committed by the fifth respondent, it shall be removed, if necessary by taking the assistance of the jurisdictional police. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
