ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents herein not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.
2. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that pending two civil proceedings in O.S.No.4 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Sivakasi and another in O.S.No.107 of 2023 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Sivakasi, O.S.No.83 of 2023 was filed by the petitioner before the District Munsif Court, Sivakasi. On the basis of the complaint 2/5
given by the sixth respondent herein, harassment is made upon the petitioner to vacate the premises.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Ayyadurai, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, both sides appeared. There was some sort of understanding reached between the parties, by which, they agreed to settle the issue for a sum of Rs.33,66,000/-.
4. The above said statement was disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that the above said statement was obtained under force.
5. Since already three suits are pending and undertaking already made before the third respondent, there is no question of harassment here. Now based upon the above undertaking or understanding as the case may be, the above said complaint may be closed by recording the statement of the parties.

6. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
