ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed to direct the respondent No.1 to withdraw the investigation of Cr.No.151/2022 on the file of the third respondent and transfer the same to the Respondent No.2.

2. Learned Government Advocate submitted that the accused were identified. They are hiding. The respondent police will secure them and recover the jewels, within a period of three months. He further submitted that on the basis of the confession statement of one Rajendran, the involvement of Ravichandran and Harikrishnan came to light. Other three accused namely Mohana, Parameswari and Tamilarasi are also identified. All the possible steps shall be taken by the respondent to secure the accused persons.

3. In view of the above submission, transfer of investigation may not be appropriate at this stage. There shall be a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
