ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is an aspirant for the post of Village Assistant. The petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste category. He has married a Christian Nadar. The inter-caste marriage certificate issued by the jurisdictional Tahsildar has been enclosed at Page No.25 of the typed set of papers. The petitioner is also said to have studied in Tamil medium.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader states that the selection process is yet to commence. Therefore, the writ petition is premature. 4.Be that as it may, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner when the selection is made on merits and in accordance with law. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
