The petitioner has submitted an application on 26.07.2022 for grant of patta for the property in S.No.734/1 situated at North Street, Ilanthaikulam Village, Vaithiraippu Taluk, Virudhunagar District and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner's family members.

2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submits that the petitioner's application is under process and the same would be considered within a reasonable period.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
