ORDER

The petitioner has sought for early disposal of the trial in S.C.No.474 of 2023 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai District, since the petitioner is aged about 75 years.

2. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has repeatedly held that no time limit can be fixed for disposal of the trial on mere asking. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is aged about 75 years, the learned Sessions Judge may conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
