This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to cancel the separate pattas issued in favour of the fourth to sixth respondents, which were granted by excluding the petitioner's mother, namely late Veerammal, as a legal heir of the petitioner's grandfather, namely late Sankavanayakkar, in respect of Patta No.421 relating to lands situated at Panthapuli Revenue Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2023.

2. When this case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first to third respondents submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the second respondent, namely the Page No. 2 of 4

Revenue Divisional Officer, before whom the issue was pending, passed an order dated 21.11.2023 bearing reference No.

R.Dis.RDOSKL/4496/2023/B3 and that aggrieved by the same, an appeal has been filed before the District Revenue Officer, which is now pending adjudication. A copy of the order dated 21.11.2023 passed by the second respondent has been produced before this Court.
