ORDER

This Petition is filed to punish the respondent for his continuous disobeying of the court order passed in WMP(MD) No.7430 of 2025 in WP(MD) No.9981 of 2025 dated 21.04.2025.

2. The petition has been filed as against the third respondent for issuing a show cause notice calling upon him to furnish an explanation as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him.

3. It is the claim of the petitioner that after interim order was passed as against the order of punishment, the third respondent has no authority to issue a show cause notice and hence, the contempt petition.

4. This Court while disposing of WP(MD)No.9981 of 2025, observed that the impugned order would amount to violation of the rules governing the subject and liberty was given to the third respondent to initiate disciplinary proceedings, if so desired in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Village Panchayat 2/4

Secretaries (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2023 and hence, this Court do not find any merit in the contempt petition.
