PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders in Charge Memo in Service 2(4)/39622-5/2016, dated 05.05.2020, within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Special Tashildar who had attained superannuation but not permitted to retire, seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was issued with a charge memo on 05.05.2020 and an enquiry report was submitted on 13.04.2022. A second show cause notice was issued by the first respondent on 02.01.2024 and explanation was submitted by the writ petitioner on 21.03.2024. However, so far, no final orders have been passed by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
3.Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to pass final orders after considering the explanation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 21.03.2024 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
