Common Prayer Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to CV Intimation No.08/MRB/2016 dated 12.11.2019 of the first respondent herein pursuant to the Notification No.8/MRB/2016 dated 31.01.2016 of the first respondent with regard to the appointment to the post of Laboratory Technician Grade II, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Laboratory Technician Grade II. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen (in all WPs) for R1 Mr.M.Ramesh, Government Advocate for R2 ****** C O M M O N O R D E R The relief sought for in the present Writ Petitions is to call for the records relating to CV Intimation No.08/MRB/2016 dated 12.11.2019 of the first respondent herein, pursuant to the Notification No.8/MRB/2016 dated 31.01.2016 issued by the first respondent with regard to the appointment to the post of Laboratory Technician Grade II, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners as Laboratory Technician Grade II.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/Medical Services Recruitment Board made a submission that pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court in these writ petitions, all the writ petitioners were permitted to participate in the process of certificate verification. Accordingly, the certificate verifications were conducted by the Competent Authorities and the petitioners in W.P(MD).Nos.24411, 24414, 24415 and 24441 of 2019 have been selected in the recruitment process. In this regard, paragraph No.13 of the counter reads as under:-

It is submitted that the weightage marks secured by the petitioners and their community and the corresponding weightage marks of the last candidate, who were provisionally selected for the post of Lab.Technician Grade-II under respective communal categories of the petitioners is as follows:- 2/4

In view of the fact that the case of the writ petitioners was considered and they were allowed to participate in the process of certificate verification and four of them were already selected, no further adjudication is required in respect of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petitions. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions 3/4

stand disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
