After applying for cancellation of patta No.899 in the name of the fourth respondent, the petitioners seek the early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3. He submits that an inquiry is ongoing and that orders would be issued on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners and the pattadar.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, it is not necessary to issue notice to the private respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioners' appeal and pass orders 2/4

on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners and the pattadar. A speaking order shall be issued within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. W.M.P.(MD) No.22958 of 2025 is allowed.
