ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that his properties have been encumbered by forged documents, has lodged a complaint before the respondent Police as against the persons, who have created forged documents, on 19.08.2025. Since no action has been taken by the respondent Police, the petitioner is before this Court. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, they have initiated petition enquiry in CSR.No.348 of 2025 and the same is pending.

3.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in CSR.No.348 of 2025, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the 2/4

event, if the petitioner's complaint constitutes any cognizable offence, then, it is the responsibility of the respondent Police to register a criminal case. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 29.08.2025 gns To 1.The Commissioner of Police, Madurai District.
