2.The case arises out of the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3.During the pendency of this criminal revision case, the parties have settled the matter between themselves. The complainant had received the amount in question and had also issued receipt towards the full and final settlement of his claims against the revision petitioner.
